love
This is the first of Jesus' commandments from the Bible.  We express this by putting worship at the start of all we do.  Every Sunday we gather at the Genesis Worship Center to worship God in a loving community. We worship by sharing the scripture, hearing
challenging and inspiring sermons, singing songs of praise, adoration of God, and
praying for our friends, neighbors, and a just world. To learn more about loving God and
                           each other, we invite you to come and worship.

grow
To grow in faith means to grow stronger and more confident in each aspect of life. 
Church community members grow through participation in small groups that emphasize relationships, community, and spiritual nourishment.  A good start for spiritual growth are
our small groups where bible study and prayer are described and real tools for 
growing deeper and stronger are shared.

discover
We are all on a spiritual journey of discovery that leads us toward God.  As we travel, our paths bring us to others who impact our journey, just as when Jesus told his disciples, "Come, follow me" (Matthew 4:19, NIV) and led them in a way we follow even now.  By coming together in a community which embodies God’s love and acceptance, we
discover more about ourselves and about the God who loves us - and the paths God has
for us.  Thus, we share the journey both with those who can help guide us, and with those
                            who look to us for support along their journeys.

serve
Methodists believe in service, so we have Ministry Teams at work inside and outside the church.  In fact, we'd like to help you find your perfect ministry. Why serve? That's how Jesus taught us to live.  We learn and grow by humbly and quietly serving - for nothing in return except the joy of giving our lives for a bigger cause.  Genesis' ministry focus is on
feeding people living in poverty. We do this by partnering with other churches and 
agencies providing direct service to those in need.
