Genesis UMW collecting for "Next Door"
"Next Door" are in need for the following items:
- Flip flops (all sizes)
- Ladies Clothing (sizes 4 and up)
- Full-size deodorant
- Old Cell Phones
- Gift cards from Safeway, Walmart, and McDonalds
Please bring these new items to church and put in the blue tub labeled, "NEXT DOOR" located in the church lobby. To learn more about Next Door, please visit http://www.nextdoor.org .
Second Harvest Food Bank Collection
Remember to bring donations of food items and newspapers to church. We are asking for donations for Second Harvest Food Drive. A barrel is located in the vestibule of the church. The holidays are coming and the need for food items seem to increase at all food bank locations. Please remember to purchase groceries for needy families when you shop for your family. Next Food Sort: March 19, 2011

This food sort is a youth outreach event. Young people must be at least 14 years old to participate. (For any volunteers under the age of 18, both Youth Permission Form and Volunteer Agreement are required.) All first time volunteers must complete and submit the forms online by Thursday, March 17, 2011. Please click this link to access the Volunteer Agreement form and other relevant attachments.
The dress code at the Food Bank is casual and comfortable. No shorts and no tank tops are permitted. Closed toe shoes and long pants are required. Please leave all valuables in the trunk of your cars. No purses or backpacks.
